Organizational Setting

The Shared Services Centre (SSC) recommends and administers process management and procedures that need to be executed effectively; ensures the management of quality assurance activities associated with the transactional processes and implementation of service delivery; continuously improves the satisfaction of its customers, internal or external, while pursuing a continuous improvement agenda that will drive up service excellence while driving down the costs of service delivery through process standardization, process automation and self-service capabilities.
Reporting Lines
The IT Specialist will directly report to the IT Associate.
Technical Focus
The IT Specialist ensures quality, transparency and consistency of data and processes within his/her area of responsibility and contributes to the smooth functioning of the work of the unit. The supervision received is focused on the quality of work outputs and meeting deadlines.
We offer a consultancy-based PSA.NAT (personal services agreement) contract, initially for 11 months with a possibility of extension.
Tasks and responsibilities
• Provide first-level user set-up and support for the ICT-related services including the Local Area Network, Wide-area Networks, Wi-Fi, Servers, Projectors, Video conferencing, PC hardware and software, printers, photocopiers and telephone service.
• Install and configure standard desktop PCs and laptops as per established policies and procedures; assist in the configuration of backup procedures in the local computers.
• Operate and solve problems in the equipment of the office (printers, photocopiers, etc.) and maintain IT supplies.
• Guide users to IT services.
• Log and track user requests and produce reports on request.
• Assist in identifying hardware and software needs for SSC.
• Draft requests for purchase of hardware and software according to corporate guidelines and procedures.
• Arrange for delivery and installation of hardware and software to users liaising with central units as necessary.
• Perform other duties as required.
CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING
Minimum Requirements
• National of Hungary
• Completed high school diploma. University degree/technical diploma from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in information technology or a related field is considered an asset
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in information technology and helpdesk
• Working knowledge (level C) of English
• Working knowledge of the official language of the country (Hungarian)
